Qteq and AGL at Australian Energy Producers Conference 2025

As the curtains draw on the Australian Energy Producers 2025 conference in Brisbane, I’m left with a blend of inspiration and reflection. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces, as well as new ones, in what was a melting pot of ideas, challenges, and solutions focused on carbon abatement strategies and emissions reduction. This year’s theme sparked not just conversation but a deep dive into the soul of our industry, as operators and contractors alike grappled with the nuances of regulatory frameworks, the critical information needed to forge ahead, and the strategies best suited to meet our net zero targets.

"In the midst of uncertainty, one thing remains crystal-clear to us at Qteq: the indomitable role of data gathering."

As we navigate these complex waters, it’s apparent that measurement and monitoring campaigns are no longer just an option but a necessity. Obtaining accurate and reliable baseline measurements will not just contribute to the conversation but will significantly inform the debate around effective carbon abatement.

However, it’s also evident that there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution when it comes to technology in our quest towards achieving net zero emissions. This diversity in our approach necessitates a suite of technologies, tailored to fit the unique challenges and environments we face. This is where Qteq, and specifically, our ‘Qanti-Fi’ service, steps in. Crafted to bridge the gap between ambition and reality, ‘Qanti-Fi’ offers a comprehensive toolbox of technologies designed to accurately measure, monitor, and manage emissions across Australia.

As we look forward to further engagements, our goal is not just to participate in the dialogue but to actively contribute towards shaping a sustainable future. Let’s set out to Qanti-Fi emissions across Australia, embracing the complexity and variability of our landscape with open arms and innovative solutions.

It was indeed a pleasure to connect with so many passionate and driven individuals at the conference. Here’s to taking the insights gained and turning them into actionable strategies that will lead us towards a greener, more sustainable Australia. The challenge ahead isn’t just meeting net zero targets —it’s evolving how we get there, together, through data-led innovation and collaboration.
