Andrew has over 15 years' of experience in the local and international mining, oil & gas industries.

He initially worked in the R&D and services space for coal exploration, developing extensive instrumentation and telemetry experience alongside a strong understanding of coal seams, Methane properties and laboratory procedures. Andrew also worked closely with product manufacture and support, information technology systems, scientific software coding, device firmware coding, product development, electronic design and field services support.

Joining WellDog in August 2014, Andrew expanded his knowledge further into CSG completions, new sensors and technology, PLC SCADA integration and hazardous area compliance.

Moving into the AMO Manager role in 2021 introduced Andrew to the management team. Building the AMO function from the ground up, Andrew developed workflow processes and procedures to better formalise Qteq’s manufacturing and assembly division for future growth and prosperity. After handing the AMO reigns to Jeremy in 2022, Andrew has moved into the role of Technology Manager.

Andrew has a Bachelor of Engineering, majoring in Computer Systems, from the University of Southern Queensland. He is a member of Engineers Australia (MIEAust), Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) in the Electrical discipline.
